Thread Com Z-50 is a Zinc based thread compoound for oilfield drill pipes conforming to specifications laid out in API Buletin 7A1. It has a special grease base which is highly resistant to water and prevents leakage at high tempearture. The compounded product provides optimum lubrication to prevent galling and seizing. The special characteristic of the base grease and uniform suspension of metalic powder of fine mesh , give excellent adhesion of compound on the tool joints and corrosion protection. Thread com Z-50 is fortfied with special metal deactivators for chemical stability and protect Recommended to used on tool, pipe , coupling joints, drill bits, drill collers and other rotaryshouldered connections and is easily applicable with brush in hot and cold weather conditions.
